restrict number of entries

Sir,
Among 20 cells from A1 to A20 i have to enter only a maximum 10 cells ..
Pls help

You may apply a custom data validation to the range A1:A20 using the formula given below.
To do that, select A1:A20 --> Data --> Data Validation --> Allow --> Custom --> and paste the formula given below in the Formula box and click OK to finish.
