    Matching Multiple columns with TRUE

    Hello!

I've been spending alot of time trying to get this to work but I cant make it work. What I want to do is match two columns with TRUE and return the value in A1, and when a name further down the list becomes TRUE it should update and return the new value in A1. Right now it's working for "Column 1" but, is it possible to match "Column 2" aswell within the same cell? For example right now "John 4" is TRUE, and if "Martin 5" becomes TRUE in "Column 2" I want A1 to return "Martin 5" and so on.
Is it possible to do without VBA? (I'm not allowed to use it in this workbook)

    I've uploaded an example sheet!

    Best Regards

One way to do this without VBA would be with a array formula(Ctrl+Shift+Enter instead of Enter for it to take effect):
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Re: Matching Multiple columns with TRUE

Quick question: If I want to add one more column to check for true, I seem to be missing something. Isn't it as simple as adding another column to look up?

    Any ideas are welcome!
apparently I've entered too many arguments if I add a third column..

Upload a sample. You are adding 2 new columns(names and TRUE/FALSE) for a third verification?

Re: Matching Multiple columns with TRUE

Yes, I'm trying to add a 3rd and 4th column to check for TRUE/FALSE. I'm doing something wrong. In cell A20 I've been trying to add a 3rd column without "=" because it errors me.
The code that works with the first two columns are in cell A1.

    An example is uploaded!

If I understood correctly, probably something like this, array formula:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
