Just precede what you type with an apostrophe (').

Type '10/5 to get 10/5 in the cell.

Re: How to paste a text with slash(/) without changing format

    Hi AliGW,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Unfortunately i can't edit the data, which is in ArcGIS.
    i can copy only.
is there any option to keep apostrophe (') in the cell before pasting?
So that can help to paste the data without changing format.

    Once again thank you

@AhsanQatar: You're using Ctrl-V to copy into Excel aren't you?
Just type an apostrophe, then Ctrl-V

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Hi,
As per my knowledge, your solution is good for only one,
But it has more than 50,000 row and 20 columns data. Please find attached file.

    Attachment 646286

    Even i can't edit there.
    Please give a solution.

    Thank you for your reply.

Format the cells as Text beforehand. Then copy the data from ArcGIS, and in Excel do Paste > Match Destination Formatting.
