Scroll bar is added horizontally by default - how to rotate it making it vertical?

    Hi,

This probably has an easy fix, but I can't seem to figure it out.

When I add a scroll bar (from Developer tab) I cannot "draw" the bar, it just appears by a defaulted shape and form. This wouldn't bother me too much if it weren't for the horizontal position it takes. In this particual table I need to make a vertical scroll bar. I know how to make a scrollable table with formulas (using INDEX, ROWS and COLUMNS) but I cannot make the scroll bar vertical. Searching online didn't give me much, which is why I'm asking for help here.

If it matters I'm on a Mac using Excel 2016 (16.16.13). I'm familiar with formulas and Excel in general, but very noob when it comes to VBA.

    Thanks in advance!

If you grab the lower lower right corner and drag it down and back under the upper left corner, doesn't it convert to a vertical scroll bar? That's what happens in Windows.

Omg. I'm an idiot. This was even more embarrassing than I thought. You are completely correct. Thank you for taking the time!
Now, I'm off to go lay under the rock where I came from.
