Automatically populate a box with the date from another sheet

Hi,

I am looking for some help,

Basically i want to automatically populate a box with the date from another sheet by typing the sheet name into the adjacent cell.

This is because the sheets are added weekly and have formulas in place already to update the date in a similar way.

The date i want to reference is constantly in E1 on every sheet and is a 'week ending' date.

I am a Noob so please be gentle if this turns out to be stupidly easy lol

You will need the INDIRECT function:

=INDIRECT("'"&C1&"'!E1")

where C1 is the cell containing the sheet name.
