Simple Pivot Table issue, missing something

I would like to show the part number in one column, and the description beside it without opening to a new row.

When I put it into Columns, it divides it out by year. Is it possible to just show it as a single column, with the yearly sums next to it?

Select a cell in the pivot, then on the Design tab of the Pivot Table Tools group, change the report layout to Tabular. You may also want to turn off subtotals.
