I have a column with a bunch of dates like...
Tue, Nov 12, 2019
Sun, Nov 10, 2019
Sat, Nov 9, 2019
Thu, Nov 7, 2019
How can I change these dates into an actual (recognized) excel date in order to manipulate (filter...etc)?

If your data is in column A put this formula in column B and copy down
Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
The formula looks to be correct but I'm getting a VALUE error.
It worked for me using the same data you posted. I assumed you have text in those cells, and not dates using a custom format "Ddd, Mmm d, yyyy" If I am wrong and you have dates data in those cells, you need a totally different solution.
If you are getting an error please attach your Excel file.
The paper clip icon does not work for attachments. To attach a file, under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.
If your system is set to use US style date format, then the formula 6String supplied should work.
If you are using a different date format, try
=DATE(RIGHT(A1,4),MONTH(MID(A1,6,3)&1),MID(SUBSTITUTE(A1,","," "),10,2))
Try this one

v A B 1 Tue, Nov 12, 2019 11/12/2019 2 Sun, Nov 10, 2019 11/10/2019 3 Sat, Nov 9, 2019 11/9/2019 4 Thu, Nov 7, 2019 11/7/2019
Or this Format as Date
