Only calculate the formulas in a single column of a sheet

    Hi all,

I have a very large spreadsheet containing a lot of formulas.

The calculate formulas option was set to automatic which meant Excel grinded to a near stop each time I made a small change. I have now changed to the manual setting, however I have added more columns containing formulas to the sheet. Is there a way to get Excel to only calculate the formulas in the new columns as opposed to the whole sheet?

    Thanks in advance

    Luke

If you can use code, there is a Range.Calculate method. It is quite likely that your formulas can be made more efficient though.

    Hi lukela85,

More than likely rorya is right - attach your file following the instructions in the yellow banner above and "we" may be able to suggest an alternative solution.
