Is this a bug? (Relating to linking values to checkboxes)

This happens when I'm interacting with cells that are linked to specific checkboxes. When I change the value of a cell, the linked checkbox doesn't change. However, sometimes when I close Excel and re-open the workbook and then change the value of the same cell again, the linked checkbox changes and functions as it should. Is this just a bug?

    Hello machinegod,

If you are using a Worksheet_Change event in your workbook, it could be the cause. Often times Screen Updating is turned off in this event. If it is not activated before exiting the event, your screen and controls will not be updated.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Thank you. I am using a Worksheet_Change event in my workbook. That's probably it.
