Hello,
I am new to this forum as well as Power Query. I am having an issue with data updating in the query the way I need it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Here's the basics: I am creating a training matrix that will be updated by multiple users. There are several (13 to be exact) tabs that feed the query, each with a table laid out in the same way. What I am trying to do is create a 'Master' tab that grabs all the names from each table to show what team each individual is on and which areas they are trained in. The same person could be on more than 1 tab if they are cross trained. I want the master tab to show me each person only once, regardless of how many tabs they are on. So far I have been able to do this. If another person is added to one of the 13 tabs, I refresh the query and they show up.
However, if someone is removed or a spelling error occurs and then is fixed, these do not go away in my query. How can I get these to go away when I refresh?
For example, I had 3 versions of 'Bob Barker' input into the tables. Once the error was caught, the tables were updated to reflect the correct spelling. However, in my query all 3 versions are still there. bob example.PNG
We also have some people leave the company, so I erase their data from the tables, yet they still appear in my query.
How can I get the query to refresh properly every time?
Thanks in advance!
