excel with a mind of its own!!!

    Hi all,

So, I posted a question earlier regarding getting my dates to track from one sheet to another. I was given the help and with a very minor tweak it worked. However, I cannot get data to track from one sheet to another and advance properly. Last year when I made my workbook, I had no issues with copy and paste. Now it seems as if excel has become the most unusable product on my computer.
So, here is the newest gaff that it is doing, and I can’t figure it out. I decided since I cannot get the data to track properly, I would rebuild the entire work book on a single sheet and be able to track my data on a local sheet I hope………… to my surprise I copied 3 separate sheets to start this process into a new workbook and now it seems as if excel will track from workbook to workbook with no issue but I can not track data from sheet to sheet in the same workbook…..why????

    Thanks, Eric
