EDIT: When saving in Excel 2010, you could choose to save the file as a "Text (tab delimited)" to which would cause the file to save as a .job file. But now, when I select that file type, it saves it as a standard .txt that is not read by my batch & print program. I can only assume there is something with the VBA not moving correctly from 2010 to 365.
Hey guys,
I wasn't sure what the best category this question fit into so I'll just post it here. I have been using the attached spreadsheet to paste in file locations for PDF drawings my shop uses for manufacturing. When you click on the tab that says "Export," you can then save that tab as a Scheduler Task Object (.job) to use with a Batch & Print Program. However, I am switching computers so my Excel programs are switching to 2010 to 365. Now, when I follow those same steps, I can't get the export tab to export to anything but a .txt file, which is not working for my needs. Any help is appreciated! I have attached the .txt and the excel spreadsheet, but the .job is not supported. Hopefully this makes sense.
Thank you!
EDIT: Perhaps this screenshot will help.
