Add text to a custom format

Hello,

I'm trying to add some text after this format:

$#,##0_);[Red]($#,##0) "Per Year"

but it doesn't work, it works for "general" format though. Can someone please let me know how to show the number with dollar sign AND the text after it?

you have added "per year" only to the negative part of the format - try this

$#,##0_)"Per Year";[Red]($#,##0) "Per Year"
