Linking 10 excel sheets to 1 master sheet

    Hello all

I could use some assistance, I have 10 individual progress tracker excel sheets that show % completion on each project.

my question is, is there a way to have all 10 individual sheets linked to 1 master progress tracker? so when I update an individual excel tracker, the tab in the master copy with this data will auto update? just to make life easier and get an overall %.

maybe there is a better way than what I have said, if so then please speak up.

    thanks for the assist.

When you say "sheet" do you mean workbook? It's a little unlcear what you've actually done. Some sample workbooks would be much better

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Kyle

I have drawn up and attached a quick example of what im trying to achieve, hope you can see it ok.

basically, Projects 1, 2 & 3 are representations of individual excel workbooks that I wish to add into one master tracker ( I need this data to be linked to each individual tracker - so when I edit project 1 tracker individually it auto updates into the master tracker)

the purpose of this is to keep track of each individual project but also get a grand total % of their progress for client valuations

if you have a simpler method that this please do tell me im open to idea
