Question Need to match managers to certain codes

    I have two tables 1 & 2:
Table 1 shows certain company codes, with date, time, code name, etc.. Table 1 can easily have several codes happening the same day.
Table 2 shows managers on duty, with date, shift type (morning, evening or night), employee number, and name. Table 2 has around 20 different managers at work each day.
I have been asked to find out what managers work when X company code is happening. See the two example tables below:

    Table1+2.jpg

What I originally thought of, was to match the dates, shifttype, and then if they do, lookup the manager. Maybe by creating a row for each managertype, but I don't know how to match it so it works. Any thoughts would be highly appreciated!

The two tables shown here are just examples and represent tables that are a lot bigger (Table 1: A-AG columns with some 20000 rows, Table 2 A-F columns with 25000 rows).

    Thanks in advance!

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Hi again, I think I have added the file now. I hope it makes sense, found it harder to explain than I thought it would be.
    Kind regards

Re: Need to match managers to certain codes

I managed to solve this question by creating a helper column that concatenates the date, shift type, and manager to create a unique value that I could make a Vlookup function upon, by adding a column for each manager with the manager name in the table heading.
    Thanks
