    Shared Workbook

I have a workbook which I have shared with a colleague who is based in another country

The workbook is linked to another workbook into which i enter detailed data. This data is summarised in the workbook ive shared

When my colleague opens the workbook they just get #VALUE! in all cells

How can i fix this issue??

    TIA

Does your colleague need to be able to see where the summarized data is coming from?

If not could you not just copy and re-paste the numbers and text?

The problem is, the number are being updated constantly, and becuase of time differences i may not know they are going to look!!!!!!

    Re: Shared Workbook

Do you have a shared drive with the colleague where the separate data is kept?

If they don't have access to the original data then it will not pull through from the formula.

    Re: Shared Workbook

So do I have to share the other workbook with them, or do they have to actually open it??

I was hoping not to have to do this as I dont want them to be able to chenge the data source
