Hyperlinks breaking

my hyperlinks to PDF files no longer works whenever the PDF file NAME changes(as expected); what do i need to do to keep the links from breaking-regardless of file NAME changes? is there a way to link to the file TITLE instead of the NAME? (the PDF TITLE is less likely to change vs. NAME) easy to suggest to not change the file NAMES- but in my particular case that is inevitable.

i have hundreds of rows which makes it burdensome to keep re-linking every time someone changes the file NAME.

What do you suggest ?

Your file management need overhauling ... people should not be allowed to change the names of the active versions of PDFs. If people need to alter/regenerate PDFs, then they should back-up the current version (usually with a version of date stamp in the new filename), and have the new, live, version with the live name.
