    Calculate age

    On Excel 2016, I have coloumn A, date of birth(dd/mm/yy), and would like to calculate the age as of today. Please advise what is the formula.

    It will be this:

    =TODAY()-A1

    This will give the number of days. If you want it in years and months, have a look at the DATEDIF function: https://exceljet.net/excel-functions...tedif-function

    Please see what i got.

    The date of birth is 201/10/1986 and after I applied the formula, =TODAY()-A1 the result is 21/04/1933. I am looking for the age and in this case it should be 33 years.

    20/10/1986 21/04/1933

    Thank you Shareez and Ali. Both were correct, just that i had the cell in date format and once i changed the format, it worked.
