How to represent 3 sets of dates for the same activity on a scatter plot

Hi everyone,

I've got a data set as per below:

Activity Original BL Current BL Forecast/Actual
Activity 1 7/09/2018 16/08/2019 30/08/2019
Activity 2 26/10/2018 30/08/2019 14/09/2019
Activity 3 1/11/2018 19/09/2019 17/10/2019
Activity 4 8/01/2019 30/09/2019 21/10/2019
Activity 5 23/01/2019 31/10/2019 31/10/2019
Activity 6 27/01/2019 25/11/2019 29/02/2020
Activity 7 1/02/2019 2/12/2019 2/12/2019
Activity 8 6/02/2019 31/01/2020 31/03/2020
Activity 9 11/02/2019 31/01/2020 31/05/2020
Activity 10 18/02/2019 24/02/2020 30/06/2020

I want to represent this data in a scatter plot with the Activity on the y-axis (i.e. Activity 1, Activity 2, etc) and the corresponding dates on the x-axis (i.e. Original BL, Current BL, etc).

I'd appreciate any help with this, thank you

The activity column appears to be text and not values, so a scatter chart is not going to know what to do with those values.

What you describe appears to me to be something like a dot plot or a scatter chart with a vertical category axis. If my understanding is correct, either of these tutorials should be useful in building this chart:

I'm not certain which will be easier, so I recommend reviewing those tutorials, deciding which approach will be easier for you, then work through that tutorial so you understand how it works. Then expand the resulting chart with the 2 additional data series to get all three of your series on the chart. Let us know where you get stuck.
