Trying to stop a count from going back down

Wondering if anyone could help me, scanning items into a excel and i want it to make a tally of how many i scanned in, im using MATCH to match the item to a list but want it to add it to a sum and when i move onto the next one for it not to delete the previous input on the count. Any ideas?

Are you scanning the items into the same cell each time? Sounds like you need a VBA macro that triggers when the value changes in that cell...

Do you mean that you are loading in a set of articles in the worksheet? do you need the sum to be automatically or could it be triggered via a button...

Could you explain a little more in detail and do you have an example file that you can share?

From what you have just said that sounds right, i need the sum to be automatically calculated automatically without a button, need this sheet to work fast.
