    Multiple workworks layout change

    Good morning everyone,

I have 3226 documents that have been delivered to myself that requires a layout change on every single one.

Example of what was received is "test.csv". Example of the final output is "IV Curve Test Result Template.xls"

Is there a way to, en masse, change every single one of these files into the new format I need to deliver to my client?

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Yes. It is easily done.

The best way is to put all the files into a specific folder.
Place a Macro Worksheet into the same folder and open it.

The Macro should run automatically and should

    Create a new folder.

Open each file in turn and save them to the new folder in the required format.

However more information is needed on the start and final names

    Re: Multiple workworks layout change

I was looking at that way of doing it. It's essentially the same with what I have sorted out with a copy/paste method of the data into the test sheet which the template is linked up to, then i just save the template as the specific file name. I've got a vba code that with the push of a button it saves into a pdf with a cell reference for the automatic naming conventions.

I'm after a way to have it run though either all of that or what you suggested automatically without having to open 3226 separate files

    Any suggestions?

So following the same method you suggested before with making a macro workbook, adding this code and running it?

    Create a new Workbook.

Paste the Macro into a macro module.

Save it in the same folder as you input files.

    Open the Macro Spreadsheet.
