Hi! My filter is not working for the whole table. There are no blank rows in the table. The "Advanced Filter" has something in the "List Range" that I can't get rid of. Can you offer any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.
Details about how to attach your sample workbook are at the top of the page.

Hey KW welcome to the forum.
I'd guess one of the following is happening:
1. You have text and numbers in the column your trying to sort. Make all values/numbers not text and try to sort again.
2. You have a space in front of some of the text and it sorts it that way. Use Trim() on the whole column and try to sort again.
If neither of those is helpful, then we need a workbook sample.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Thank you AliGW !
OK, I added an attachment so you can see what I'm dealing with. I think it has something to do with "Table Design" because those words come up when I click the cells through row 7 but not afterwords.
Thanks MarvinP !
Hi KW,
It looks like you have defined a table that is only a few rows down. When you use those auto filter dropdowns it only sorts the top few rows. Copy your data using values only and try again. I don't know how you got the top rows to be defined as the table and then added more data below it but that is what it looks like.
If you look at Formulas -> Names Manager it will show the table only is defined down to row 7. You might try to delete that name and try again, or do like above.

Thanks MarvinP. I couldn't delete the Names Manager table so I ended up copying and pasting to a new worksheet per your recommendation. Your help is appreciated!
