Bulk convert XLSX to XLTX

Hoping someone here might have a solution:

I have a few hundred XLSX files that I need to convert to XLTX (template format). I'm looking for a way to do so in bulk (and already found out it isn't as simple as changing the file extension) as having to do it individually will be....painful.

Can anyone provide a solution?

Put this code into a new Workbook and run it;

It'll ask you for a folder and then look for all XLSX files in that folder, it'll open then and save them as XLTX.

Please note the comment about removing the original XLSX file if you don't need it.

Please use caution when using this as you won't be able to recover any lost documents.

I'd suggest running it on backups of the original files till you're 100% sure of what you want.
