    "save" or "pin" a conditional format to the quick access bar

    is there anyway to "save" or "pin" a conditional format to the quick access bar?

    i utilize a conditional format all the time where i want Positive percentages in green, and negative in red (for stock market purposes). tedious to always have to set it. im not really looking for a macro either. just looking for a button or something i can press to format it the way i want it.

    Dunno how to do that, but you can create a new cell style with custom number format [Green]0%;[Red]0% and select it from the style gallery. Color selection is limited.

    Click Style Gallery > New cell style, apply the custom number format shown.

    No, you can't have CF as part of a style.

    @eugchen;

    You can apply the custom format given in message #2 to a cell in a new Excel file, save the file as a template in your XLSTART folder giving the name "Book.xltx".

    In this way, the custom format will be available for you whenever you need.

    The location of the XLSTART folder depends on your Windows version.
