In U9:U11, is there any way where we can derive output mentioned in W9:W11?.
Formula in cells U9:U11 is give by the forum. But it fails in W9:W11.
I need to reconcile huge database and manually doing the task is very time consuming.
Please assist.

You have given only 3 examples of simple results (same layout of xxx/nnn to get nnn). Describe what you expect the formulas to do? For example, for:
BES/2894/18-19
?

The output of BES/2894/18-19 should be BES/2894/18-19 since this bill no. is not found in range of U1001 onwards.
In U9:U15, the formula should return the bill no. of U1001 onwards if the GST no. are same.
Please assist.
Try changing this part:
MID($F9,6,9)
to
MID($F9,4,11)
.... entered with Ctrl+Shift+Enter (I noticed that one of your formulas was not entered that way).
