Scrambled Manually Keyed Data in Data Connection Table

    Hello All,

    Please see attached.

    * The Vendor Cost Tab is info that is kept up to date and shared on sharepoint. It contains our Vendor Cost
    * I use a data connection to import the Vendor cost information onto the "Customer Price" tab
    * My goal is to use the "Customer Price" tab to analyze vendor cost and add appropriate margin to it. This will be my price I charge my client
    * However, when I manually key data in the "Customer Price" tab, it won't stay with the corresponding row after sorting.
    * Example, if you go into the Vendor cost tab, and sort by "service", click save, and then go into the customer price tab and refresh. You will see that it will recognize the sort, but the manually keyed data in column H stays in the same place! It won't move with the corresponding data
    * Again, my goal is to be able to pull the latest vendor cost data, analyze it, and calculate my price to the customer
    * Is there a way for me keep the manually keyed data with the corresponding rows after a sort?

Please create another table name Rounded
    For Customer Price Rounded

Open Power Query/Get and Transform. Click on New Query.
Open blank query in the editor, launch Advanced Editor and paste in the following code.

Re: Scrambled Manually Keyed Data in Data Connection Table

The intent is to not have to create a new table. i want to be able to work from one table sheet after I pull in the updated vendor cost. I have hundreds of rows of information and things will be to chaotic for me to do this.
