What function can I use in excel to highlight similar (not exact) ranges of values.

Hi all

So I have a large list of a range of distance values. For example one cell might show a range of (15.32 - 19.27) and another might show (47.56 - 67.36). I need to find all values that are similar. Say in like a range of 5 meters or so to be highlighted. How can I do this?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
