Error on conditional formatting with gold stars

    Hello,
I am using Office 2013 and I have an odd error.
Please see the images below. I am trying to add a gold star for each rank of one through five. I must be doing it wrong because sometimes it also adds a star to a rank of six. How do I correct this error? I've heard that sometimes this can be done with percentages instead of numbers but if sop, what percentages?

    Thank you in advance

Maybe check the actual values in the cells. You're only showing integers so, for example, 5.9 would show as 6 but really be < = 6.

    You're welcome.

To be consistent, you could just use < = 5
