Date is turning into some weird number with if statement

using a if statement the date in my one column is turning into some random number I cant seem to figure out what's going on or why any suggestions?

Dates are stored as numbers in Excel (starting at January 1, 1900). So 43913 is that many days after 1/1/1900, aka March 23, 2020.

You can either format the result cell as Date (Short Date, Long Date, Custom) or wrap the formula in a TEXT function, e.g.
