    Hi angelman,

    I'd guess that the text file you have isn't completely standard. Some programs put a CR (carriage return) LF (line feed) character at the end of each line. It looks like your file doesn't have that. Also some have Char(160) instead of Char(32) (a space character) thrown into their text. This always screws people up. I can also imagine you have Tab characters in your text that may not be welcome for the Text to Column feature in Excel. If you could attach a sample of your text file, we could look at it and try to figure out why the Text to Columns doesn't work correctly.

    Thanks Marvin, I did attach pics of the oriiginal file in pdf form and then its appearance in excel? Is that what you mean?

    Hey angleman,

    You need to attach an Excel Workbook instead of a picture. Read the yellow area at the top of the screen.
