Getting named cells to work in inserted template worksheets

    Hi,

I have created a workbook that checks monthly accounts. It has a series of named cells representing, rent, tax, broadband, mobile etc. as these appear on all work sheets

I created a template from the first worksheet that included these cell names, in the hope that when I inserted a new worksheet from the template for the next month, the named cells attached to the workbook, would automatically be picked up by the new sheet.

In reality I get the #NAME error, even though the cell name is correct. If I retype the cell name it picks it up OK.

Is there a way these cell names can automatically be updated with the value indicated by the cell name?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks

    Dave
