Quick way to reference multiple workbooks with dates as titles

I haven't used indirect formulas much but I was hoping they would come in handy here. However, I've read they only work when the workbooks I'm referencing are open... I have a workbook showing my stock market data across various accounts. I have a file saved for each trading day. I would like to graph my return over time in a separate workbook, and rather than manually pull the same cell from each file, I was hoping there was a formula I could simply drag.

    ='C:\Users\Brain\Documents\Stocks Graph\[2020-03-11.xlsx]Dashboard'!$W$11

Here's an example of my cell reference with the workbook closed. I am not familiar with VBA. Is there anything I can do?

I think you could just construct the address like

Please Login or Register to view this content.
in lets say a1 and then in the vba just write something like and attach all of that to a button.
so in this case you drag down the stuff in the A column then press a button.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    then hide any working columns

easy to see what you are doing that way.
If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.
