    Issue with scatter plot chart

    Hi guys,

    I have an issue with this chart and I don't understand why.

    I have this chart:

    Equality is calculated with these points:

    Count

    0%
    13%
    25%
    38%
    50%
    63%
    75%
    88%
    100%


    Lorenz curve with these points for X:

    % people accumulated

    0%
    12,5%
    25,0%
    37,5%
    50,0%
    62,5%
    75,0%
    87,5%
    100,0%

    And these points for Y:

    % Income accumulated

    0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    0,0%
    100,0%

    So, the question is: Why is it not a right angle in the last point? The last point is X=100% and Y=100%, why is it starting from 87,5%?

    Because the line is drawn between the last 2 points.

    (87.5%,0) and (100,100)

    If you wanted a right angle you would need to include an extra data point

    (87.5%,0) (100,0) (100,100)

    Thank you very much for the answer. But I don't understand. The chart is not with a right angle even if I add a point.

    What chart type are you using? In the OP, you indicate that you are using a scatter chart, but this looks like you are using a line chart. A scatter chart should give you the desired effect, but a line chart will not.
