Creating a sheet to display game matchup data/stats

    Hi,
My friend and I play a strategy game against each other where there a choice of teams (e.g. USA/Canada/Mexico). We would like to keep stats on the following:
    1. Overall wins/win pct
    2. Win/Loss as each team. (e.g. how many times I win as Canada)
    3. Match up pct (e.g. When i am Canada how often do i win when facing Mexico)

As of now i input the data like this:

    ME MY FRIEND
    Canada Vs Canada
    USA Vs Mexico
Where the Bold text indicates the win.
(Is there a way to get excel to count the win if the cell is bold?)

I could probably do this by creating several different sheets with multiple data sources, but i'm wondering if there's a way to do it from just the data in the form of the table above

Thanks (I don't know how well i described this, but hopefully someone understands)

    Hi,

Counting Bold Letters, As per my knowledge there is no Inbuilt Function or Formula. Instead you can try this as per your Data Range!

    1. Make a backup of your workbook.
    2. Open your workbook and ALT+F11
    3. Locate your Workbook name in Project Explorer Window
    4. Right click on your workbook name > Insert > Module
    5. Copy paste the Macro code given
    6. Save your file as .xlsm if you intend to reuse Macro again.

You can call this as =CountBold(A1:A10)
