Hello,
I have Column A (City) and Column B (State) in one Tab of my worksheet(Sheet 1) and Column D (City) and Column E (State) in another tab of worksheet (Sheet 2 my data source).
I am trying to do a Vlookup but I need to make sure the city and state in sheet 1 matches the city and state in sheet 2 since I have the same city but in different states.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

We recommend that you describe what you need to do, rather than the method you think would be used to do it. You will need to use INDEX/MATCH in an array formula (not VLOOKUP). See attached file.
This is an array formula. After typing in the formula, do not hit ENTER--hit CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER. You have done it correctly if the formula in the formula box has {braces} around it. You cannot type in the braces; they are just an indicator that it is an array formula.

Thanks that did it. I was trying to remember what someone did before with VLOOKUP and IF AND statements, that is why I mentioned that. But this is much less complicated.
