Adding/Updating Data to an existing Power Query

I had created a power query that got data from a folder. It's transformed the way I like. I thought that if I added new files or changed data within the existing files and refreshed my query that it would update. The only way I can figure out how to add new data is to recreate the query and append the data. I'm sure there must be an easier way and was looking for some direction. Thanks!

You must be doing something wrong.

    1. What is the location of the files you want to pull data from?
    2. What is the M code from the query?
    3. Are you refreshing the query?

Hello, no doubt I am lol.

    1) The location of my files are in C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Excel\Practice\excel_workbooks.
    2) Below is M code
    3) To refresh I click on Data>Queries & Connections...this brings up my query and I right click on it and select refresh. Thanks!

I have added code tags for you - they need to be added around code in future, please, as per the forum rules.

This query looks a bit odd to me. Are you able to share a workbook that is in the same format as those you are importing via the query?

I figured it out. I had the new file in the wrong (similar) name folder. After I moved the new file into the right folder path, refresh did what I needed. Thanks for the fast replies!
