Formula for "Filling Cups" or maxing out a container.

We are shipping items and trying to give the people we are shipping to an idea of what to expect.

Attached is a spreadsheet for an example. The three Yellow cells in column a are the variable cells, they are the QTY ordered.

So far I have been relatively okay, but we are starting to get larger orders. What I want to do is be able to say to someone that will ship in "10 large boxes and 1 small box" or whatever it would end up as.

For the example lets say I type in 500 into cell A29.

That would use (3) large boxes maxed out. Right now G35 would populate as 3, which is good. I want H35 to equal 160 because it would be (3) full boxes. I would then have (1) populate into H32 for the remaining 20 to go into that box. I want that to show 20.

The end result is I am trying to get the shipping weights right but I am stuck because of the multiple box scenario and I'm sure someone on here is smarter than I to help figure that out.

Thank you in advance for any possible help.

    Matt

not entirely sure I follow the requirement but, if you're looking to populate Col H, specifically -- then, perhaps:

I think that worked. Still playing with it a little bit but initially it looks to work correctly.

    Thanks a ton!
