    Changing format

I have the following format EWR:...:ADD and would like to convert to EWRADD. Thus, without any periods, colons, etc. How do I do the conversion?

    THANKS!

Use the Find and Replace Function found on the Ribbon.

    Re: Changing format

As per Alan's suggestion, it took me two find and replaces.
first, find what >> : replace with >> leave blank
make sure it isn't on exact match.
second, find what >> . replace with >> leave blank
got rid of all no matter how many were in a cell.
Only highlight column B for it to work otherwise it will remove those from column A too.

    Re: Changing format

Now, if you want a formula this in another cell would work... =SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(B2,":",""),".","")
    then just drag down.
