Hello. I am using Excel 2016 in Spanish.
I am trying to use the Stocks Data Type. When I put a name and select Data, Stock Quotes, it does convert the name I have in my cell into a long name with the Exchange reference. But I do not see the Little stock Exchange icon, and I cannot get the fields I need to add in the other columns.
Any idea why ?

While this function shows on your ribbon, it is only functional in Office 365 (the Microsoft Subscription Version). I also have it on my 2019 version on the ribbon but it is not functional. I think it is a Microsoft tease to get you to buy into 365.

Thanks, so it shows on the ribbon, it converts the name into the long name and Exchange ticker, but not much more
That's it unless you have 365 and then it links to outside information re: Price, etc.
Because I find it useless for me, I have removed it from the ribbon. File-->Options-->Customize Ribbon
