Hi everyone,
We have an excel file that is used by up to 6 users at any one time, its a sharepoint based file and given it is very basic (no formulas, conditional formatting or links) its very slow particularly on copy & paste. it general kicks others out when it lags.
Anyway, I've worked out that it had multiple objects hidden on all 7 tabs which was causing the issue, these have been removed and performance issue has been resolved but I have already done this a few months back.
My question is, how do I prevent users from dragging these objects over when copy & pasting from another file? We have no use for the objects.
Is there a specific paste option they should be using? Paste Values perhaps?
