Post line up dates of two different data sets

    Hi everyone!
    I'm new to this site.

Let's see if anyone can help with this:
I have to work with data (dates and prices) related with two financial products from two different Stock Exchange, located in different countries so that the trading days don't always coincide (due to different public holidays).
So what happend is that the dates at the beginning are the same, but at the end, after 10 years of daily records, they differ of dozens of days.
I tried to manually line dates up (leaving a blank cell but this is not a problem I'll just copy the previous day's price) but this is taking just too long.
I guess if there is a smarter way to deal with this problem, but I have no clue by now.
If you have any advice it would be great!
    thank you very much
    Peter

ps. I hope that the title reflects the sense of the topic...

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

    Thank you.
Here you can find the SAMPLE attached.
there's a sheet BEFORE and AFTER, the latter shows the work I manually did, coloured in red (until the black line on row 268).
I added a note where I explain the simple modification I operated.

    Hope it's all intellegible.

    Thank you

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not but I added a formula that might help. There were a couple of days I had to manually enter but you don't have to insert a row or anything.

See the attachment for my example. Hope it helps.
