importing data from several sheets

Hi,

I have this problem on how I can get the data I needed from other sheets to my intended sheet.

For example, I need to get the value of

Telephone Expenses - Landline
Internet Subscription Expense
Auditing Services
Due to BIR - Withholding Tax on Suppliers/Creditors
Cash - Modified Disbursement System (MDS), Regular
from the Worksheets with prefix name of DV's into BILLING sheet.

Hi there,
It would be useful if you write the values you would like to see in the yellow shaded cells in the 'Billing' sheet.
This would help us to trace where the data is and work out the best way/formula to get the data.

rachayag1925, I looked at your workbook. I think you need to change the "-"s in the sheet names to somthing different, like "_". also in the intem descriptions you need to use word seperators in the place of spaces. Give it a try for starters.

Please have a look at the attached file. I have inserted the formulas in the yellow area of the Billing sheet.
Note, merged cells can cause trouble. For the cell reference in the vlookup, you need to count the merged cells to the left as unmerged.
