Copy past Hyperlinks(to websites) with index function

Hey everyone,

Im using this function to fill column G =INDEX($A$2:$A$2000,MATCH($E2,$D$2:$D$2000,0)) to compare two groups and the copy and paste the contents of the cells to the grouped cell.

However column A is all hyperlinks which lead to websites, is there a way for me to modify the function so that it copies the hyperlinks too and doesn't just copy paste as text to column G

Its probably something small I'm missing but I'm stomped.

EDIT:

when attempting to use =HYPERLINK(INDEX($A$2:$A$2000,MATCH($E2,$D$2:$D$2000,0))), it returns me the error cannot open the specified file

Yes indeed, and the formula does extract the text in the cells of Column A however it does not paste the hyperlinks which is what I somehow want to achieve
