Drop down list and cell enlargement

I'm trying to make a drop down list with the same size as the cell, so whenever I resize a cell I want the list to do the same, but it doesn't. I've looked everywhere on the web but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated.

What kind of dropdown list are you using?

Are you using Data Validation with the dropdown list option? The list is the same size as the cell.

Are you using a control like a combobox?

Can you attach your file (see yellow banner at the top) or show a screen shot of what you are trying to do?

I have the developers function enabled and it's from there that I use the list. As you can see the drop down list doesn't enlarge automatically when i widen the cell.

Nevermind I found it. I had to right click the drop down list and go to shape format. Then go to size, open it and select "move and size with cells" under properties.
