columns not sorting correctly

Ok so this might be a bit confusing to explain. i have this sheets ( attached ) its part of a sales pipeline, now everthing seems to be fine until i try to sort the sheet by the date column

there are 2 columns that depend on data is a 2nd sheet. the problem is as follows:

Stage	Value	Quotation#	Probability	Creation date	Team	to Won	Last interacted on
won	8000$	805	100%	10-07-2019	Socorro	100%	14-11-2019

the probability column value is based on the stage columns value which is in turn is based on the second sheet the progress to won is based on the cell location under probability column

the Problem: when i click to sort the sheet by creation date all columns get sorted but the probability colums wont sort in sync with the other cells which leads the progress to won column to screw up as well.


can anyone help with this?

PS if my explination is not clear. download and open the sheet, try to change the option from the drop down list in the stage column you will see how it changes the value for other columns. as its supposed to do

now click on the creation date column and sort from AtoZ or old to new. now try changing the option in the Stage column say from won to lost. and you will understand exactly what i mean

I am guessing that you have used forumae such as =Sheet1!A2 in those assocaieted columns, and that will be your issue, if so.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

In your probability formulas your references include the name of the sheet that the formulas are on. Change this part:

MATCH('Sales Pipeline'!A7

to this:

MATCH(A7

and the sorting should work properly.
