Keep formatting when referencing a cell

    Hi,

I am trying to knock something up that will generate part descriptions automatically based on some values input by the user but I'm having an issue.

In the attached example, the text is B3 is pulling the 4.5 from D3, the text in B4 is puling the 5.0 from D4 but when displayed in B4 the decimal place after the 5 disappears even though D4 is formatted to have a decimal place.

is there a way to get the .0 to appear in the text in B4?

    Thanks,
    Luke.

    Try this:

    ="ABC "&TEXT(D3,"0.0")&"DE"
