Excel 2010 create .xlk file in save as

    Hi to all
    I'm facing a strange issue.
In a specific excel file ONLY!!!!
When i save as always they create a XLK file with 0 size.
When i create a new xlsx file even if i go to Save as -> Tools -> General Options -> and check "Always create backup" when i press Save as they DID NOT create xlk file
Only the specific file in Save as always create the xlk file with 0 size.

Does anyone have an idea why this happens???

    Thanks and regards...

PS: I also have upload the specific xlsx file
    Attached Files Attached Files

    Hi again.

Finally i found some answers in my problem where i would like to share over here.

In our Domain we have a file server.
If i create a new xlsx file and check "Always create backup" in Save as -> Tools -> General Options
When i save it locale work without issues
When the same file save it in our file server (All the users have map the specific drive) THEN excel also create the xlk file with 0 size.

Can anyone verify this for me????

    Thanks and regards

XLK does not exist - do you mean .xls or .xlsx?
