After cutting & pasting the whole row Excel contracts original now-empty rows

So I was often cutting/pasting full rows from one sheet to another. Before, the original sheet would just have those rows removed from the sheet after paste is done. Suddenly, when doing the same cut/paste operation I see different result in the original sheet - those rows that I cut/pasted just get to row height 0 (not even hidden). And now every time I have to expand those rows and delete them manually after cut/paste is done. Any idea why?

Another weird view you can see there when I removed all the rows below I see now grey area instead of regular Excel view..

Not sure how but somehow your rows had different sizes and then were hidden.

So here is what I did. Select all.
Move your mouse between rows 1 and 4 (the mouse should change where it is an up and down arrow)
Then move your mouse down and the rows should appear.
You then should be able to double-click on the rows and it should auto-format the row height.
