Scheduling chart

Is it possible to change the bar colours to red, green or amber rather than two colours (blue/green) determined by the 'done%' column . I would like to maintain the length of the bars which is based on the difference between start and end dates. However the % done would be replaced with Red, Green or Amber. The colours(red, green or amber) would be reflected on the bars. Could you please assist. I'm assuming the CF formula would have to be changed?

This is really a continuation of your other thread here...

But seeing as that is almost a year old, and was marked as solved, starting this new thread is probably better
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

At what percentages should the red/green/amber cut in?

    Re: Scheduling chart

Cells in Column H would have the Letter R, G or A representing red, green and amber rather than %. If a cell in column H has the letter R for example then the bar should be red, if it has G then the bar should be green, if it has A then the Bar Should be amber. An additional condition can be added called C, which would stand for closed, the bar should be grey in this case. Apologies, hope this makes sense.

There are some articles on the Internet for changing colors for a bar chart "excel change color on a bar chart" then it seems like you need to get [moderator removed reference to commercial product]. May have some help there or not.

Please update your file so column H has the correct letters for the color.

Please do not post only to tell people to search the Internet. We are pretty sure people know how to do that. Also do not post promotions for commercial products here.
