duplicate columns A and B

Suddenly I have two identical columns A and B in my worksheet and cannot figure out what I did or how to go back to where I was or how to remove the duplication. "Remove duplicates" under "data tools" did not work for me (apparently not designed for my case). I cannot select just one of them and delete as both are selected when I click on column heading. Recovering "previous versions" with ShadowExplorer didn't work either ("wrong file extension(??!"). Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have SPLIT the screen.

In the VIEW menu deselect the Split item

1. you posted in Access, this is an Excel question, I will move it for you.

2. As Richard noted, you have done what's called Split your Screen - and can be done either vertical (like yours), horizontal, or both. This can come in handy if you have a large sheet and want to see different parts of it at the same time
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
